I'm a 23 year old videographer from Rotterdam. I fell in love with filmmaking at a young age. Since then I've done a lot of videoclips for artists and commercial work for companies like Van der Valk Hotels and Groendus. I also run an events brand called Golfslag, where I create and direct all media seen on the platform. I like working in a team, but I also do solo productions a-z.

Kas Aritz is an interdisciplinary artist focused on documentary projects. Their work centralises finding place within identities, bodies, communities, and geographical spaces. They place great importance on representation and ethical practice, prioritizing co-creation and finding reciprocal storytelling methods within their projects. After studying Photography, Film, and the Digital at St. Joost School of Art and Design with a minor in Creative Writing, they graduated in 2023 with the short documentary film Oaia Neagră. The short premiered at Nederlands Film Festival and won the VPRO Documentary Prize as well as the title for Best Film at Vers Film Festival, and was selected for NPO’s Makers van Morgen. It has since been selected for festivals such as Roze Filmdagen, Rotterdams Open Doek, DocLisboa, and was nominated for best documentary of Shortcutz Amsterdam 2024. In 2024 they were one of eight selected participants for the year-long NEXT Talent Development Trajectory by Playgrounds, and completed the course Script Writing at the Scenariovakschool in Amsterdam. In 2026 they finalized the collaborative documentary project Identity Not Detected with transgender migrants in The Netherlands. This project consists of a documentary short film, a collaboration with So-We, Teledoc Campus, CoBo, and HUMAN, and a new media zine on migration, homonationalism, and dis-identification. The film will premiere at Nederlands Film Festival as part of the official selection.

Ik ben een onafhankelijke filmmaker, gevestigd in Rotterdam. Ik studeerde in 2018 cum laude aan mijn MA in Audiovisuele Kunsten aan het Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema & Sounds (RITCS) in Brussel. Mijn werk is vertoond op prestigieuze internationale film- en kunstenfestivals zoals HKIFF Hong Kong, IFFR Rotterdam, Short Film Festival Oberhausen en Transmediale Berlijn. Mijn werk is een contante zoektocht ons mens-zijn in een snel veranderende wereld beter te leren begrijpen. Ik voel me aangetrokken tot thema's als queer identiteit en de invloed van technologie op onze gevoelswereld. Ik hou van niet-alledaagse verhalen en personages, die ons uitdagen onze referentiekaders te verbreden, die ambigue mogen zijn en de ambivalentie van ons mens-zijn omarmen. Als maker voel ik me niet begrenst tot één genre. De vorm volgt de inhoud. Een project kan uitmondden in een documentaire, fictiefilm of een combinatie van de twee, waarin mijn voorliefde voor sciencefiction en filmessay vaak hun weg vinden. Naast mijn eigen werk, maak ik ook video's in opdracht voor culture instellingen en sociaal-maatschappelijke organisaties.

In 2024, Jet embarked on a new chapter with So-We, a creative platform for film, documentary, photography, and art. With a people-first approach, So-We blends bold visuals with meaningful narratives, breaking conventions to inspire, challenge, and engage audiences. The platform brings together makers from diverse backgrounds, creating space for collaborative, inclusive, and sustainable creative practices. As a producer, Jet thrives in collaborative environments, valuing the unique contributions of each team member. With over 15 years of experience, she has built a strong network of dedicated freelancers who share her commitment to authentic storytelling. Through So-We, her mission is to create meaningful content that prioritizes people over profit, promotes inclusivity and drives sustainable change.
